Tranformers: The Survival of Megan Fox’s White Pants
I took my boys to see Tranformers: Revenge of the Fallen. I am not surprised at all this movie received a 19% out of 100% on rottentomatos.com

My kids loved it. My kids are also 8 and 10 years old…right about the level of humor found in the movie. The human part of this movie just sucked. The machine/cgi part of good but there was so much crap flying around it was hard to see what was going on. I have read a few complaints about this movie here and there but the one thing I would like to complain about is Megan Fox’s bright white pants that managed to stay bright white through her entire trek through the Egyptian desert while being chased and shot at by the Decepticons?! I mean…everyone else is covered in dirt, blood, laser burns but she and her pants managed to stay perfectly white?!
I am glad my sons liked it but I wanted to ask for my money back.
OK…one more complaint. How in the hell do they walk into the front of the Smithsonian IN D.C. AND WALK OUT THE BACK INTO THE DESERT MOUNTAINS OF THE SOUTHWESTERN U.S.?!
Movie - “The Longest Day”
Based on Corlnelius Ryan’s book this is easily my top 5 all time favorite movies. You couldn’t put this movie together today. Based on the cast, location and size it today it would dwarf the biggest movie in cost. Produced in 1962 it cost $10 million and it won 6 Academy Awards!
Simply…it is about the first 24 hours of the invasion of Normandy, France on June 5-6 1944. Some of the stars are John Wayne, Henry Fonda, Robert Mitchum, Richard Burton and Sean Connery (his role is small in comparision to most of his movies…that’s how big this movie is!). Many of the German actors were real German soldiers and officers during the war.
The movie ended up going way over budget and was nearly put to an end but many of the actors foregoed their salaries to make sure the movie was finished.

It only recieved 7.8 out of 10 on IMDB? Should be at least a 9!
Peter: What?
Koonu: Weed. Ya got any?
Peter: No.
Koonu: Well then let’s just go surfing! Come on out. Oh, the weather outside is weather… From Forgetting Sarah Marshall
Movie “The Young Lions”
This is one of my all time favorite movies. Filmed in 1958 and starring Marlon Brando (as German officer, Lt. Christian Diestl), Montgomery Clift (as American infantryman Noah Ackerman and Dean Martin (Michael Whiteacre who is also an American infantryman and Noahs friend). May Britt is also in it. She was Sammy Davis real wife and really pretty.
The movie takes place during the Second World War. Noah Ackerman deals with racism, fighting for his dignity in his own unit and eventually winning them over and becomming a hero to those that once hated him. Michael Whiteacre grows from one that was apethetic to the war to seeing why it needed to fight. Christian Diestl was happy with the direction Hitler was taking Germany but towards the end of the war becomes disallusioned after discovering a death camp. The movie ends with tying in all three characters.
