Vehicle # 19 - 2000 red Triumph Daytona 955i
In 2000 I turned 30 and probably had one of those mid-mid life crisis. I knew a few guys that rode sports bikes and I had been looking to purchase one myself. Originally I wanted a Suzuki GSXR 750 which is an amazing motorcycle but I decided to get the Triumph. I looked a lot like the Ducati 998 but thousands of dollars less and way more comfortable.
We use to ride around the Disney property because their roads were brand new, amazingly maintained, wide open, full of twists and bends and surprisingly little traffic. I would zip along at 100 mph and have guys passing me on their Gixxers and R1’s like I was riding a turtle. I kept this bike for a few years but we moved back to an island and it became super uncomfortable to ride so I sold it to a friend.
