Car #5 - 1988 black Toyota pick upSo I am driving along in the Beretta and I pass a Toyota dealership.  I see this truck up on their front display and think “Holy crap I have to have that!”  I had owned my current vehicle for a solid month and decided it was time for a new car.  This picture is someone else’s but mine looked exactly like this one.  Rather than a Georgia plate on the front I actually had a Confederate flag.  I have no idea what statement I was trying to make though it was priceless pulling up to the valet at my parent’s country club and seeing the expressions on their faces.I beat this truck up so badly that one night while jumping it I broke the front axel.  I knew a few other people that also had Toyota pick-ups and we all really tore them up.  I went up to northern Michigan a few times and had a blast four-wheeling through sand dunes.  Owning a pick-up can be fun and cool but you also learn what a hassel it can be.  Everyone who needs something moved (furniture, dirt, etc) calls on you to help out.  Also, if you are friends with similar vehicles they seem to show up at 3 a.m. to help them get their vehicles unstuck from mud pits.
