Thanksgiving is just a few months away but I thought I would take a moment to reflect on several things to be very thankful for.
Coffee: I don’t know how I would get any day going without it.
TV: What the hell did people do for home entertainment before this? Don’t tell me “read.” The majority of the world was semi literate and people did not have home libraries like they do now. Probably explains why my both my Scottish grandparents had 12 siblings each.
Hygine products: toilet paper, wet wipes, “sanitary napkins”, deoderant, soap, etc. Up until the 20th century people just had to of just plain stunk.
Beer: Planet Earth minus beer would be about as interesting as Pluto. Not very.
Make-up: Because no matter how beautiful you are when you wake up in the morning…this makes you that much more beautiful.
Toilets: Where did it go before?
Really Smart People: because they are always looking for a way to improve our lives and planet making things better and easier.
My Wife: who is one of the Really Smart People that puts up with my cantakerous, bitter arse loving me for who I am. If not for Coffee, TV, Hygine products and Beer I would be impossible to live with!
